TORQUE

The Solstice model's twin-cam four-valve-per-cylinder 2.4L ECOTEC produces 172hp and 167lb ft of torque. Even better is the way variable valve timing shapes both output curves to enhance the entire performance spectrum. More than 90 percent of peak torque is available from 2200 to 5900 rpm, and the 2.4L runs strong all the way up to its 6950-rpm redline.
